It is shared by the family with sorrow that Tina Tyan left us peacefully on August 29, 2024, at Linden Court in North Platte at the Age of 58.
Tina Delores Tyan was born on August 10, 1966, in Sutherland, NE, to Edward and Cleo (Slater) Tyan.
At a young age, Tina lost both of her parents and took on the selfless responsibility of caretaking for her younger siblings. After attending North Platte Public Schools, Tina went on to complete some college and then began working as a self-employed interior painter. She brought two sons into the world: Joshua and Chandler. She was so proud of her boys.
Tina was known to be stubborn but incredibly strong and was always the “mom” to those around her. She loved to read, garden and scrapbook in her spare time. Tina was no stranger to anyone and loved to visit and talk. If you know Tina, you know that she had a story for everything.
Survivors of Tina include her son, Chandler (Danin) Tyan of Edmonds, WA; siblings, Camie (Matthew) Cox of Wauneta, Tim (Tracy) Tyan of Wallace, and Dusty Tyan of Godley, TX; a close niece, Heather (Mitch) Pappas of Godley, TX; along with several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family. Tina is also survived by many friends that she considered to be family.
Those that preceded her in death are her parents; son, Joshua; and brother, Corky.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 3 PM at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home with Pastor Job Vigil as officiant. A book signing will be on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 12 PM to 7 PM with family present from 5 PM to 7 PM at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
