Larry Jameson, 86, went to be with Jesus on September 9, 2024, after a brief stay at Linden Court in North Platte, NE. 

Viewing will be at the Bethel Assembly of God Church on September 16th, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be on September 16th, 2024, at Bethel Assembly of God Church in Thedford at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Thedford (for family only) following the service. Memorials are suggested to the Bethel Assembly of God Church or Thedford Hillcrest Cemetery. Larry Dean Jameson was born March 10, 1938, to Ralph and Edith (Ricks) Jameson on the Dismal River Ranch south of Thedford, NE. Larry was the second to youngest of eight siblings. Larry attended K-8th grade at a country school on the Dismal River. He then attended and graduated from Thomas County High School- class of 1955. 

After attending a semester at Nebraska State Trade School in Milford studying Diesel Mechanics, Larry was needed back on the family ranch to help his dad.

On September 30th, 1961, Larry married the love of his life, Betty Ann Ewoldt at Bethel Assembly of God Church in Thedford, Nebraska. Larry and Betty established their home out on the Jameson Ranch on the banks of the Dismal River. They had two daughters, Donna Kay and Teresa Lynn.

After 44 years of married life on the Dismal, Larry & Betty moved to BJ Ranch Co on the east side of Highway 83 south of Thedford where they have lived the past 19 years.

Larry has been a member of Bethel Assembly of God church for the past 68 years. During those years he has served on the Deacon Board for several terms with several different pastors. Larry also served as Assistant Sunday School Secretary for many years. Most importantly, Larry loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all his heart, soul, and mind. He loved his wife and family deeply. Larry also enjoyed ranching, John Deere tractors, and old cars (especially Ford retractables).

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph & Edith Jameson; his brother, Edgar Jameson, his sisters, Shirley Jameson, Betty Neal, Deloris Little, Irene Piester, and Elsie Carr; and his grandson, Zachary Dailey.

Larry is survived by his wife-Betty Ann Jameson of Thedford, his daughters- Donna Kay Higgins (Terry) of Thedford and Teresa Lynn Dailey of Papillion, NE, his grandsons- Jared Jameson Dailey (Jordan) of Mishawaka, IN, and Trevor Dailey of Papillion, NE, his younger sister- Thelma Haynes (Dallas) of Syracuse, NE, as well as, numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
