
A Brady man was arrested for driving under the influence after crashing into a guardrail on a Highway 30 overpass early Saturday morning.

According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy was on patrol on the west side of Brady at approximately 2:22 a.m. August 22 when the deputy heard a loud crash.
The deputy responded to the area and found 29-year-old Leonard Johnson of Brady at the scene. Investigators determined Johnson had struck the guardrail at the top of the Highway 30 overpass on Link 56D.
Johnson did not request medical services following the crash.
After further investigation, Johnson was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence of liquor and having an open alcohol container.
Johnson was booked into the Lincoln County Detention Center.
The sheriff’s office released photos showing significant damage to the vehicle following the crash.
