Laurine “Lois” Klinge of Ogallala, NE, passed away on Tuesday, January 8th, 2024, at Centennial Park in North Platte, NE.
Lois was born in Keystone, NE on March 28th, 1938, to Guy and Alma (Osborn) Pierce. She grew up in Ogallala, NE, and was a long-time resident of Ogallala.
On October 16th, 1960, Lois married Dale Klinge and to this union, two children were born. They later divorced.
She worked at various hospitals and nursing homes throughout her work career. She was a die-hard Denver Broncos and Nebraska Cornhusker fan and she loved watching wrestling with her grandkids.
Lois loved her children, her grandkids, and her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her sister and playing bingo at the senior center in Ogallala.
She is survived by her sister Carol Creason of Ogallala, NE; brother Melvin Pierce of Scottsbluff, NE; Daughter Tammy (Randy) Dailey of North Platte; Son Donald (Leisa) Klinge of Colorado Springs, CO; Grandchildren, Emily (Rudy) LaPointe of Grand Rapids, OH, Justin (Brittany) Dailey of Prague, NE, Daniel Dailey (Dana Arrants) of Grand Island, NE, Jessica Mora (Cole Weedman) of North Platte, NE, Randy Dailey Jr. (April Troxel) of Big Springs, NE, Kaitlyn (Kadyn) Moody of Cheyenne, WY, Derrick Klinge of Longmont, CO and fourteen great-grandchildren and one on the way; a “special niece” Sandra Glenn of Kearney, NE; and several nieces and nephews.
Lois is preceded in death by her parents; four siblings, Virgil, Irene, Agnus, and Marie; and a Great-Granddaughter, Harmony Rain Dailey.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Ogallala, NE.
Memorials are suggested to the First Congregational Church of Ogallala, NE.
