OGALLALA, Neb. (June 16, 2025) — The Keith County Big Give reached its ambitious fundraising goal of $325,000 on the final day of this year’s campaign, thanks to a late surge of community support.
As of Sunday evening, donors had contributed a total of $325,202.46, pushing the overall total to the goal. Organizers expressed their gratitude in a statement: “We have hit $325K!!! Thank you to everyone who has donated! What a wonderful community who shows up for these 50 nonprofit organizations. Together, we are building a better community!”
The annual fundraiser, which ran from June 1 to June 15, benefits nonprofit organizations across Keith County. A total of 888 individuals donated through the campaign’s online platform.
St. Luke’s School led all recipients with $18,117 in contributions. Pathways Pregnancy Center and the Wild West Soap Box Derby were also among the top-supported organizations.
The Keith County Big Give is supported by local sponsors and community volunteers. Organizers said the campaign not only helps raise funds, but also increases awareness of the work being done by nonprofits throughout the region.
