JAMIE LYNN TIMM LOHMEYER, 44, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 30th, 2024 after a difficult battle with cancer. She was born on July 17, 1979 in Dodge City, Kansas. Jamie lived a full and vibrant life from beginning to end and touched the lives of many people along the way. Jamie fought cancer at age 20, and again at age 44. Jamie was a loving wife, mother, caregiver, nurse, teacher, daughter, sister, real estate entrepreneur.

When she was a little girl, Jamie set her sights on becoming a nurse/caregiver to give extra care to all her patients. Her first patients were cabbage patch dolls, then on to her brother, mom, and dad. She also had wonderful dreams of being a mother.

After she graduated from Dundy County High School in Benkelman, Nebraska, Jamie continued her education at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing on May 2002. She met the love of her life, Scott Lohmeyer at KWU her first day at the college. They married August 14, 2004.  Jamie was an active Registered Nurse for 10 years, working mostly in medical surgical, oncology, and hospice roles. She was also a traveling nurse for 2 years living in Maryland, Arizona, Seattle, and Boston at various hospitals. Jamie and Scott had so much fun exploring the country during this time. They settled down in Centennial, CO to start their family. Jamie loved her children deeply and was an amazing mother. After 9 years in Colorado, they moved to San Antonio, Texas pursuing more opportunities and adventures. In Texas, she became a licensed realtor for her real estate business where she achieved more success.

Jamie is survived by her husband Scott and her two daughters Payten and Dove, her favorite and only dog Star, her parents Sandy and Dwane Timm of Goodland, KS, her brother Bradley Timm (Cyndi) of Colby, KS, grandmother Beulah Klinginsmith of Greeley CO, many aunts, uncles, first and second cousins, Jim and Beth Lohmeyer (in-laws) of Hays, KS, (brother-in-law) Joe (Misty), Maddie Weber and Halle Lohmeyer, (nieces). She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Stanley Klinginsmith, Gladys and Sonny Joe Timm, cousins Missy Thompson, Grady Timm and Bentley Graves, Art and Mildred Lohmeyer, George and Frances Segerhammar (Scott’s grandparents).

The family is holding a funeral service to celebrate Jamie's life on May 14th, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Wayside Chapel 1705 Northwest Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78213.
