Lincoln, Neb. - North Platte Police Officer Keegan Parker received a "MADD Hero Award" during an award ceremony that was held in Lincoln.
Officer Parker was awarded the award for his contributions to traffic enforcement and community safety. Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) was created to end drunk driving effectively. Nominations open in January and MADD wants to find individuals who have gone above and beyond on focusing to end impaired driving and keep Nebraska safe.
Officer Parker was one of many individuals that were recognized by MADD that focused on getting impaired drivers off the road.
