OGALLALA – 8-year-old Pryce Gette was in a severe car accident on Oct. 16th and spent time at the Children’s Hospital in Denver. Gette got the chance to return to school earlier this week. Support for the Gette family has poured in from all around the Keith County communities and surrounding counties.

This Friday at Crandall Creek Golf Club, the Pryce Gette Silent Auction & Benefit Dinner will take place with doors for the event opening at 5:00 pm with the Cocktail Hour with dinner set to serve at 6:00 pm. The golf course is located at 359 E County Rd 85 in Ogallala.

The fundraiser event will feature a benefit dinner of Sloppy Joes, silent auction and a raffle basket. To preview auction items, you can follow on Facebook at "Pryce Gette Silent Auction & Benefit Dinner".   The online bidding will end tomorrow, Nov. 16th at 6 pm. Highest bids will then be transferred to the in-person silent auction that will be held during the event Friday. Bidding on Friday will end at 8:00 pm.

For the raffle basket, tickets will be available for purchase at the fundraiser event, or you can purchase tickets at the following businesses: Buenz Gifts, Open Range, Rustic Arrow, Second Chapter Brewing, Tin Cactus & Wolf Auto. The drawing for the raffle basket will be held on Dec. 3rd. The Pryce Gette Silent Auction & Benefit Dinner is a free will donation, and a cash bar will be available. The proceeds from the fundraiser event will help cover expenses on Gette’s road to recovery.

Many businesses in Ogallala have shown support for the Gette family whether it’s donating proceeds from sales from their business or donating items for the silent auction.
