DECEMBER 10, 2025 – In celebration of the holiday season, the American Red Cross is hosting special Holiday Blood Drives at four locations across Central Nebraska on December 23. Eligible donors are encouraged to make an appointment and give the gift of life during this critical time of year.

The holiday season often brings a decline in blood donations due to busy schedules, festive activities and inclement weather. Yet, patients in hospitals still rely on lifesaving transfusions every day. By donating blood, you can bring comfort and hope to someone in need—gifts more meaningful than anything found in a store.
