North Platte, Neb. - North Platte Community College had 11 student-athletes earn NJCAA All-Academic honors for their academic excellence during the 2025-26 school year.
To qualify for NJCAA All-Academic recognition, student-athletes must earn a cumulative grade-point average of 4.0 for first-team honors, 3.80 to 3.99 for second team and 3.60 to 3.79 for third team.
The Knights men's basketball team finished the academic year with a 3.37 cumulative team GPA, the highest among Region 9 South programs and the second highest in Region 9.
Four men's basketball players received NJCAA All-Academic recognition. Dennis Rocha and John Sims IV earned first-team honors with perfect 4.0 GPAs. Tanner Hebblethwaite was named to the second team, while Sedrick Nari earned third-team recognition.
The North Platte Community College volleyball team posted a 3.16 cumulative team GPA and had seven student-athletes recognized by the NJCAA.
Jenna Claflin, Zoe Maher, Juliana Netherton, Makenzie Piper and Isabelle Reichman were named to the first team. Ella Rotherham earned second-team honors, and Kylie Rose received third-team recognition.
