Timothy Jimenez, 69, of Ogallala, passed away on November 18, 2023, at the Ogallala Community Hospital.
Tim was born January 24, 1954 at Ogallala, Nebraska to Pete and Fanny (Ortega) Jimenez.
On May 1, 1971, Tim married Barbara Tjaden at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Ogallala. Their union was blessed with two daughters: Missy and Lori. The couple would make their home in Ogallala, where Tim worked at CHS Grainland for many years as the location manager. He retired as the general manager at FCA in 2015 after nearly 40 years.
Memorials are suggested to the Perkins County Hospital and the Ogallala Volunteer Fire and Rescue in memory of Tim.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Stephen Jimenez.
Survivors include his wife, Barb of Ogallala; his daughters, Missy (Jason) Schliep of Grand Island; Lori (Bryan) Hill of Ogallala; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Pete (Marie) Jimenez of Clarksville, TN, Dora (Adam) Jara of San Angelo, TX, Emerald (Tim) Lauts of Atchison, KS, Art Jimenez of Lincoln, Margie Schilz of Ogallala, Frances (Mike) Legler of Columbus, Arnold (Molly) Jimenez of Albany, OR and Leonard Jimenez of Lincoln; along with many other relatives and friends.
Memorial book signing will be on December 1, 2023, from 3-5 pm. Private family inurnment will be in the Ogallala Cemetery.
