April 5, 2024 (McCook, Neb.) — Weather permitting, work will begin April 15 on N-4, from reference post 25.81 to reference post 36.79, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Vontz Paving, Inc. of Hastings is the contractor for this project. Work includes milling, asphalt, paving, grading and seeding. Traffic will be maintained with pilot cars and flaggers. Anticipated completion is Fall 2024.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
