North Platte, Neb. -&nbsp;The North Platte Police Department along with police departments across the nation will participate in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over, high visibility enforcement campaign from August 16th to September 2nd, 2024. 

Some Sobering statistics indicate that during the 2022 Labor Day holiday, there were 490 fatalities nationwide. Of the 490 fatalities, 39% involved a drunk or impaired driver. The North Platte Police Department asks drivers to be responsible and plan your safe ride home before the start of the party. Don’t let your celebration end tragically.
