Applied tech careers to be featured at upcoming NPCC job fair

Representatives from area businesses visit with prospective employees last spring during an Applied Technologies Job Fair at North Platte Community College. The next job fair is scheduled for Nov. 2.

North Platte Community College will be the site of an Applied Technologies Job Fair Nov. 2.

The event is free and open to the public. It is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon in Rooms 105, 107 and 109 of the W.W. Wood Building on the NPCC North Campus, 1101 Halligan Drive, in North Platte.

The fair will provide job seekers with an opportunity to network with representatives from area businesses and learn about open positions in a variety of applied technology-related fields.

An emphasis will be put on electrical, building construction, welding, HVAC, automotive, auto body, diesel and CDL.

Guests are encouraged to take résumés with them. At their discretion, employers may choose to interview candidates on site.
