Search warrant leads to the arrest of a wanted Colorado man in Haigler

Haigler, Neb. - Numerous law enforcement agencies conducted a search warrant in Haigler which led to the arrest of a wanted man from Colorado.

According to the Dundy County Sheriff's Office (DCSO), on Wednesday around 11:00 am (MT), agencies conducted a search warrant at 243 East Street in Haigler. 

The man law enforcement was searching for was identified as Robert Bullard, a wanted fugitive from Colorado Corrections as well as Yuma County, Colorado.

Officials says Bullard was located hiding underneath a bed inside an R.V. parked at the residence. Dundy County Deputies observed drug-related items inside the R.V. A short time later, a second search warrant was issued for the residence, outbuildings and vehicles that reside on the property.

During the search, approximately 3 grams of Methamphetamine and approximately 100 needles used for Methamphetamine use were located on the property.

DCSO states Bullard was arrested and transported to Red Willow County Jail while he awaits an extradition hearing to be taken back to Colorado.

Assisting DCSO was the Nebraska State Patrol, Wray Colorado Police Department, Nebraska Game and Parks, Nebraska Brand Committee and Benkelman E.M.S. In total 11 law enforcement officers were involved with the scene.
