OMAHA, Neb. (Aug. 26, 2025) — First National Bank of Omaha has awarded more than $1.7 million in community impact grants to 90 organizations across its eight-state footprint, with the majority of funding directed to programs in Nebraska and Iowa.
The bank announced it will distribute $1.14 million to 53 organizations in the two states, with grants focused on its pillars of giving: affordable housing, workforce development and financial literacy.
Among the recipients are Habitat for Humanity groups in western Nebraska. North Platte Habitat for Humanity received $15,000 to support its annual home-building initiative, which provides pathways to homeownership for individuals and families. Scottsbluff/Gering Habitat for Humanity, which also serves Alliance and Chadron, was awarded $30,000 for its home-building efforts.
