The North Platte Police Department advises the public of the following road closure and designated parking routes for those attending the Vice President’s visit at the D&N Event Center on Thursday, October 22.
Doors open at 8:30 a.m.
ROAD CLOSURE
E. Walker Road will be closed between Highway 83/S. Jeffers Street and Lake Drive.
DESIGNATED ROUTES TO GENERAL PARKING
Traffic approaching from Highway 83/S. Jeffers Street: Enter general parking via E. Eugene Avenue near Iron Horse Park.
Traffic approaching from the east: Access general parking via Lake Drive from E. Walker Road.
Please follow designated routes, obey traffic control signs, and follow directions from law enforcement and event staff.
We kindly ask everyone planning to attend to allow extra time for travel and arrival due to anticipated traffic and road closures. Your patience and cooperation are appreciated as we work to ensure a safe and orderly event.
