The North Platte Police Department participated in the “Fans Don’t Let Fans Drive Drunk”, impaired driving campaign.&nbsp; Sixteen traffic contacts were generated in the twenty hour, grant funded enforcement period.&nbsp; 

Of the sixteen traffic contacts generated, three drivers were arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.&nbsp; One person was apprehended on an active arrest warrant, and one person was arrested for Driving Under Suspension.&nbsp; The Police Department would like to thank the citizens of North Platte for all their efforts in making Super Bowl Sunday a safe event.
