Update: I-80 westbound from Sutherland to Paxton is now open. The stretch of westbound lanes was closed due to a multi-vehicle accident. The westbound lanes were closed for a little over two hours.

Paxton, Neb. - I-80 westbound remains closed from Paxton to Sutherland due to a multi-vehicle accident that occurred this morning. Highway 30 is an alternate route for travelers to use. The accident occurred a few miles east of Paxton.&nbsp;
