Anna M. Denisse, age 87, formerly of Ogallala Nebraska passed away Sunday, August 4th, 2024 in Miller Grove, Texas.
Anna was born to Karl and Klara (Kraus) Klein on September 15th, 1936 in Rammelsbach Germany, where she grew up and completed trade school to become a seamstress.
Anna met and married Shelton Denisse in Rammelsbach in 1954. He brought her to the United States one year later. One of her proudest accomplishments was becoming a United States citizen! Shelton’s military career took them to California, Colorado, North Carolina, and Frankfurt Germany before settling in Ogallala, Nebraska. She worked at TRW for several years and enjoyed babysitting.
Anna enjoyed cooking, shopping, playing cards, and animals. She loved going out to brunch with family and friends. She was active in the community and volunteered her time at the nursing home and church. She was a member of the Altar Society and Ladies Guild.
Anna is survived by four children, one sister, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one granddaughter, two grandsons, and one great-grandson.
Inurnment will take place at Ogallala Cemetery in Ogallala, Nebraska at a later date.
