Marjorie Ann Caudillo (1943-2024)

  Marjorie Ann Caudillo of North Platte, peacefully passed away March 11, 2024, at her daughter's home in Colorado with family at her side.  She was 81 years old.

Marjorie was born February 22, 1943, to Amon and Fern Krieger at Hastings. She married Don McNeil and they had a son, Jay.  She married Raymond Fuentes and to this union Juan, Dolores and Hope were born.

Marjorie later married Don "Dink" Karsting and they moved to North Platte in 1976.  After Dink passed away in 1982 Marjorie married Frank "Poncho" Caudillo on September 30,1983.  They adopted Jon "Jay" and were together for over 20 years when Poncho passed away in 2004.  In 2022 Marjorie moved to Colorado to live with Hope and Hugh.

Marjorie was a strong, faithful woman who was a 3x cancer survivor.  She loved her family and loved spending time with her grandkids and her extended Caudillo family.  While in Colorado, she enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren, Valentino, Mila and Royce.

Marjorie enjoyed doing puzzles, watching game shows, coloring on her i-Pad and she liked her wind chimes.  She also had a love for gardening and flowers, and she enjoyed canning her tomatoes and making green chili.  She is loved and will be greatly missed.

Along with her husbands, Marjorie was preceded in death by her sons, Jay McNeil and Juan Fuentes; her parents; brothers, James and John Krieger; sisters, Sharon Morganflash and Marilyn Andruss; and brothers-in-law, Richard Morganflash and David Wengler.
Survivors include her children, Dolores Fuentes of Thornton, CO, Hope Nesslein (Hugh) of Highlands Ranch, CO, and Jon Jay "Dink" Caudillo of North Platte; her grandkids, Anthony Fuentes, Richie, Sarah, Christopher, Juan Fuentes, Jr., Leona Armenta, Kevin Armenta, Marcelina Fuentes, Sylvie-Rose Fuentes, Shellyna, Linda, Jaycek, Aaliyah, Selena, Ashanti and Cisco; great-grandkids, Frances, Angelica, Josie, Tatiana, Julius, Jordan, Joseph, Amirah, Aleah, Eathan, Ezabella, Khloe, Valentino, Mila and Royce; great great-grandkids, Sebastia and Nevaeh; her godchild, Jamie Day; sister, Carolyn Wengler of North Platte; brother, Leslie Krieger, and sister-in-law, Cookie Krieger of Hastings; and many other extended family members.

Services will be 11 a.m. on Monday, March 18, at Odean Colonial Chapel with Pastor Patrick Sipes officiating.  Burial will follow in the North Platte Cemetery where Marjorie will be buried with her son, Jay.
