The Mid-Plains Community College Valentine Campus will offer a class on turkey calling ahead of the spring season. The session will be from 6-8 p.m. March 6 at the campus, 715 U.S. Highway 20, in Valentine.
Instructor Rick Windham will provide a comprehensive introduction to turkey calling and hunting tactics for beginners as well as some advanced techniques.

The 2024 Nebraska turkey season begins March 25 for archery hunting and April 13 for shotgun.
