GRANT, NEB. - Road work is to begin today on Highway 61 at the intersection of 5th Street and Central Ave in Grant. The North traveling lane will be removed and replaced today and the south traveling lane will be removed and replaced Wednesday. With the edges being removed and replaced early next week.
During the road work, traffic will be maintained through a single lane through the intersection. The city of Grant wants to remind residents and travelers to pay attention to the barricades and signs that are posted by the state.
