
OGALLALA, Neb. — Country music fans are in for a treat as the Keith County Fair welcomes the Strait Country Tribute to the fairgrounds on Friday, August 1, in Ogallala at 8pm MT.
The evening concert will feature Dallas-born performer Howard Decker, who tours nationwide in tribute to the legendary George Strait. Known for his striking resemblance and spot-on vocal delivery, Decker brings the signature sound and timeless appeal of “King George” to life on stage.
From honky-tonk anthems like “Amarillo By Morning” to heartfelt favorites like “Check Yes or No,” the Strait Country Tribute is billed as a nostalgic journey through George Strait’s iconic discography.
“Howard Decker captures the look, sound and spirit of George Strait,” organizers said in a release. “Whether you’ve been a fan for decades or are just discovering his music, this show promises a classic country experience.”
The concert will take place at the Keith County Fairgrounds and is part of a lineup of entertainment planned for the annual fair. Tickets are available now at keithcountyfair.com.
