
LINCOLN, Neb. — Photographers across Nebraska have a chance to showcase the state’s natural beauty in the 2025 Nebraskaland Magazine Photo Contest, now open for submissions through October 31.
The contest invites photographers of all skill levels to submit their best shots taken in Nebraska. Entries are accepted in four categories: Wildlife, Scenic, Recreation, and Macro. All photographs must be original and captured within the state.
Winners will be featured in the January/February 2026 issue of Nebraskaland Magazine, with cash prizes for top entries. First-place winners in each category receive $150, second place earns $100, third place $50, and the overall Best in Show takes home $250.
“The contest is a great way to celebrate Nebraska’s landscapes, wildlife, and outdoor recreation,” said contest organizers. “Whether you’re an amateur snapping pictures on your phone or a professional photographer, this is your chance to share the beauty of our state.”
Photographers can submit entries online by following the guidelines at magazine.outdoornebraska.gov. All submissions must be received by 11:59 p.m. Central Time on October 31.
