Construction resumes on I-80, Ogallala to Roscoe

(North Platte, Neb.) — Work has resumed from reference post 125.64 to reference post 132.89, Ogallala to Roscoe, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.

W.W. Clyde of Englewood, Colorado, is the contractor for this project. Temporary ramp construction, street lighting, concrete paving in the new Ogallala westbound rest-area, and installation of traffic control items will be performed. Traffic will be maintained with lane closures in both directions and a 12-foot width restriction will be in effect. Anticipated project completion is fall 2026.

The purpose of this project is to preserve the transportation asset, improve the reliability of the transportation system, and perpetuate the mobility of the traveling public.

Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
