North Platte, Neb. - Exciting times are upon us at the North Platte Regional Airport is making numerous changes. Earlier in the fall, the city welcomed state and federal leaders alongside local leaders, community members and more for the groundbreaking ceremony of the new terminal building.
The terminal will bring a new, modern look. Also, the terminal is scheduled to be done in Spring 2026, but if nice weather continues, the project could move along a tad bit quicker. While the terminal has been the highlight at the airport, the committee have brained storm and discussed new projects to be done. North Platte also saw a record-breaking year in 2024 and wants to build off that success.

The duo discussed the new terminal, how expansion of the airport can help economic development in North Platte, how the existing building will be repurposed and so much more.
