
The Ogallala City Council will meet Tuesday evening with agenda items including proposed subdivision plats, contractor licensing approvals and discussion involving a land swap request and nuisance abatement assessment.
Council members are scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. at Ogallala City Hall, located at 411 E. Second St.
Under the consent agenda, council members are expected to consider several contractor licenses and bond items for Michael Hansen, including plumbing, sewer and right-of-way contractor licenses. The council will also consider probationary membership for Dallas Newman with the Ogallala Volunteer Fire Department.
During the public forum portion of the meeting, council members are slated to discuss a proposed land swap involving properties identified as PID #088001100 and PID #088001300 with Wilma and Randy Seibert. The council will also discuss a nuisance abatement windshield assessment tied to property located at 1001 E. First St. involving Mark Baumgartner.
The city clerk-treasurer’s report includes approval of minutes from the April 28 regular meeting and review of the April 2026 financial report.
Several planning and zoning matters are also on the agenda, including consideration of final plats for Great West Townhomes Replat No. 2, Oakridge Replat and Phase One of the Cleveland Subdivision.
Council members are also expected to consider a special fee schedule for liquor licenses through Resolution No. 2331.
The meeting will conclude with project updates from the city manager and reports from city council members.
