Mid-Plains Community College student Cruz Brooks, of Hershey, has been selected as a member of the 2025 Nebraska Intercollegiate Band.
He will perform March 8 at 11:30 a.m. in the ballroom of the Graduate Hotel in Lincoln. The concert is part of the Nebraska State Bandmasters Association annual conference and is free and open to the public.
The Nebraska Intercollegiate Band includes outstanding music students from colleges and universities across the state.
Brooks, who will be playing the tuba, is the first MPCC student to be selected for this honor
