North Platte, Neb. - Gary Suhr is the winner of the “Half-square triangle diamond” Quilt that was raffled off by the North Platte Area RSVP on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Also, Janet Oswald is the lucky winner of the two Husker Volleyball tickets plus $100, and Larry Steele is the winner of the two Husker Football tickets plus $100.
RSVP would like to thank the community for supporting the raffle. Special thanks to Gary’s Super Foods, Ace Hardware, North Platte Hardware, Bomgaars for hosting the raffle booths. Thank you to the RSVP Volunteers who staffed the raffle booths and to everyone who purchased a ticket.
The beautiful pastel colored quilt was made by Barb Oltmanns, hand-quilted by the Flying Needles Quilt Group and bound by Kathy Lowe.
The raffle is one of RSVP’s annual fundraisers benefiting the program. The money raised is used to purchase books to be donated to each elementary student in the North Platte Public Schools District, McDaid and Our Redeemer.
