West Central Nebraska Development District, Inc. (WCNDD) has received a $1 million grant from Nebraska’s Rural Workforce Housing Fund with a match of $500,000.00 from the City of Imperial. WCNDD is looking for contractors or developers that have the capacity to build home(s) that are ready for occupancy within 12 months from the start of construction.

Beginning November 27, 2023, applications for a low rate, short term construction loan may be picked up from the City of Imperial office, WCNDD office, or via email. All applications must be submitted with the required documentation by January 3, 2024, to be considered. Please join WCNDD at the City of Imperial office, 740 Court Street, Imperial, Nebraska on December 6, 2023 at 2 p.m. for an open house to discuss the program or answer any questions.
