North Platte, Neb. - From May 8th through May 11th, the North Platte Police Department worked a high visibility traffic enforcement campaign, with a focus on impaired driving behavior. During the campaign, one person was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. One stolen vehicle was recovered, and the driver was jailed for possession of stolen property.
The occupant in the vehicle was jailed for an active arrest warrant. One juvenile was cited for speeding, flight to avoid arrest & Willful Reckless Driving. Six citations were issued for Speeding. One citation was issued for a traffic signal violation. Four citations were issued for no valid registration and one citation was issued for no operator’s license.
