NPCC homecoming week will be Oct. 30-Nov. 4

Homecoming week at North Platte Community College will be Oct. 30 through Nov. 4. Festivities will include an alumni coffee, luncheon, tailgate and tours and men’s and women’s basketball games.

Open to the public activities will begin with a Knights women’s basketball game Nov. 3 against Laramie County Community College.

Tip is scheduled for 5 p.m. in the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium on the NPCC South Campus, 601 W. State Farm Rd. The game will be followed by a Knights men’s basketball game at 7 p.m. in the same location.

The Office of Institutional Advancement will offer a free alumni and retiree coffee gathering from 9-11 a.m. Nov. 4 in the NPCC South Campus pavilion.

Alumni are invited to stay for a lunch afterward from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 131 of the McDonald-Belton Building. Admission is $10.

The lunch will be followed by a free tailgate and campus tour from 2-4 p.m.

At 4 p.m., guests will have the opportunity to watch the Knights women’s basketball team take on Eastern Wyoming College in the McDonald-Belton Gym. The Knights men’s basketball team will face off with EWC at 6 p.m.
