Creighton (2-2-1) continues its four-match homestand with its annual Socctoberfest match vs. Northern Colorado (1-1-2). Friday’s match will be played in Omaha with kickoff set for 5 p.m. inside Morrison Stadium.
Creighton will be celebrating its Bluejay soccer alumni with its 14th annual Socctoberfest match. For just $35 dollars, Creighton fans can experience all the action on Friday with its Socctoberfest packet. Included in the deal is access to live music, a commemorative Creighton Socctoberfest glass stein, a stein fill, a meal ticket and a complimentary general admission ticket to the soccer matches.
Friday’s match will be streamed live on the official Creighton Athletics YouTube channel, while live stats will be available through Statbroadcast at http://Creighton.StatBroadcast.com.

Scouting Creighton (2-2-1)
Creighton is 2-2-1 on the young season, including a perfect 2-0-0 record at home. The Bluejays are coming out a pair of 1-0 wins over Kansas City and Missouri and have posted shutouts in each of their last three contests.
Senior Olivia Duray leads the team with four points on two goals, while sophomore Sarah Hyde follows closely behind with three points on a goal and an assist. Sophomore Jalen Chaney has also provided a spark offensively, netting one goal.
Defensively the Bluejays have been spectacular, posting three consecutive shutouts with fifth-year Kailey Hall and junior transfer Morgan Paley have split time in between the post. Paley leads the way with a 1.10 goals against average with 11 saves, while Hall follows closely with a 1.33 goals against average and 8 saves.
Following a season that saw Creighton qualify for the BIG EAST Tournament for a second straight season, the 2026 Bluejays will be put to the test as they try to replace a talented senior class that elevated the program and expectations to new heights.
Head coach Jimmy Walker will turn to his core nucleus and 17 underclassmen to continue to build upon the program’s most successful back-to-back seasons in over a decade, as the Bluejays went 7-8-4 last season, finishing fourth in the BIG EAST with a 4-3-3 record.
Creighton was picked to finish fourth in the BIG EAST Preseason Coaches’ poll as Jimmy Walker coaches his 19th season with a 193-112-33 career record.
Scouting Northern Colorado (1-1-2)
Northern Colorado is 1-1-2 this season, with its only loss coming in the season opener to Wyoming. The Bears bounced back to defeat Colorado State before posting back-to-back draws against South Dakota and Denver.
Offensively, Northern Colorado has found the back of the net three times this season, with Maddie Mori leading the way two goals.
Senior Hannah Schmitt has added a goal of her own, while classmate Lexi Tuite has dished out two assists.
Senior Thordis Melsted has been solid in goal, owning a 1.25 goals against average with 30 saves in 360 minutes in between the posts.
Northern Colorado was picked to finish ninth in the Big Sky Preseason Coaches’ poll after finishing last season with a 3-10-6 overall record and tied for seventh with a 2-4-2 mark in league play.
Head Coach Tim Barrera is in his 34th season as a head coach and owns a 337-316-78 overall record in 28 seasons at Northern Colorado.
