County wide page for structure fire in Ogallala city limits. Agency responded with command, engine31, Rescue1, and Tower50. KC EMS responded with MAC60, MAC1, and MAC3. KCEM Kling responded to provide support resources (Red Cross) for affected residents. Paxton cancelled enroute. KLFD engine cancelled enroute. Brule FD responded with command and engine. OPD responded for traffic/scene control.
OVFD FF entered and extinguished the basement fire in approx 15 minutes. Salvage, overhaul and extension/hot spot search took approximately an hour. EMS evaluated occupants but did not transport. Ne SFM investigating incident. No smoke detectors were sounding inside the structure. No civilian or FF injuries reported to command. Structure currently not habitable.
