Halsey, Neb., June 28, 2024—Maintenance is needing to be completed along all-terrain vehicle (ATV) trail 113 in the Bessey Recreation Complex.
A well along the 113 trail needs maintenance, requiring the cutting of some trees. This requires the blocking of the entire trail while well maintenance is underway. For the safety of the contractor assisting in this work, and the safety of the public, trail 113 will be closed until further notice.
Access from the trailhead of 113 to where trail 113 meets trail 112 will have closed signs posted for the public. This maintenance is very short term, projected to begin July 2, 2024 and will not require extended closure.
