NPCC students to be inducted into Phi Theta Kappa

North Platte Community College students are inducted into Phi Theta Kappa during last year’s ceremony. This year’s induction event is scheduled for March 29.

North Platte Community College will induct students into the Alpha Beta Theta chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society March 29. The ceremony is free and open to the public.

It will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the McDonald-Belton Theater on the NPCC South Campus, 601 W. State Farm Rd.

Dr. Glynn Wolar, History/Philosophy Instructor, will be the keynote speaker. Other activities will include a candle lighting ceremony and a presentation of stoles, which new inductees will wear at commencement May 8.
