(old post) - Due to a winter storm hitting the region and dumping off snow, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation, I-80 westbound is closed from Kearney to Paxton, while I-80 eastbound is closed from Sidney to Gothenburg. Highway 30 is considered impassable from Ogallala to Gothenburg and travel is not advised.
