North Platte, Neb. - The North Platte Community College athletic department will kick off a winter coat drive on Saturday.
People are encouraged to donate lightly used coats of all sizes and colors. Donations can be placed in the big box located in the concession stand area of the McDonald-Belton Building.
The coat drive will conclude Dec. 16. All donated coats will be distributed to The Connection homeless shelter and the Rape/Domestic Abuse Program of North Platte.
