North Platte Police Department
During the Halloween celebration, between the hours of 4:00 P.M. and 2:00 A.M. officers from the North Platte Police Department participated in a twenty hour traffic enforcement grant, aimed at impaired driving. Officers made a total of 30 traffic contacts. Of the 30 traffic contacts a total of 8 citations were issued.
Two citations were issued for speeding, Two citations were issued for Driving Under Suspension. Two citations were issued for No Operator's License. One citation was issued for No Proof of Ownership. One person was jailed for Driving Under the Influence of alcohol and one fugitive was apprehended on an arrest warrant.
