Omaha, Neb. -- Just a few hours before its match with Denver, Creighton Men's Soccer's 7-0-2 start to the 2026 season was acknowledged by United Soccer Coaches as the Bluejays climbed to No. 7, its highest mark since Aug. 30, 2022. The last time the Bluejays were ranked higher than No. 7 was on Oct. 11, 2016. In that poll the Bluejays were No. 6.
Coming off a 3-0 win over Providence to open BIG EAST action on Friday, Creighton faces Denver tonight at 7:00 pm. The battle with the Pioneers is just the second road contest of the season for Creighton, the other saw the Bluejays defeat Tulsa 5-0 on Aug. 31.
