Before being selected, Keith County youth pitch their philanthropic ideas, offer a plan to implement their project, and calculate how much it will cost. Those selected receive up to $1,000 to bring their project to life.&nbsp;

Keith County Foundation beginning application period for Youth Inspired Philantrhopy Project for this year

North Platte, Neb. - The St. Patrick's Church is excited to be hosting the St. Patrick's Block Party this Saturday and Sunday in North Platte. The event on Saturday will run from 6:30pm - 11:00pm with a beer garden, nacho bar and more. On Sunday, the event runs from 12:00pm - 3:00pm and is geared towards activities for the kids but for everyone to enjoy. Raffle tickets are on sale for $2 and there are awesome prizes to win.&nbsp;

North Platte, Neb. - The 4th Annual International Bazaar is set for September 28th at the D&amp;N Event Center in North Platte. The event runs from 11:00am - 3:00pm. The multicultural festival features around 21 different countries, authentic food and exhibit vendors, community education booths and so much more. The event is looking for volunteers to help. North Platte, Neb. - Monster trucks are heading to the Lincoln County Raceway for the Monster Truck Mania event this Saturday. Saturday will feature two shows, the first one beginning at 1:00 and last until 3:00pm and the second show begins at 7:00pm and will go until 9:00pm. Drivers will compete in different events and will finish the night off in the freestyle.&nbsp;

Tickets are available for both shows but the first show is selling quickly. The second show on Saturday features a family package deal for $50, but tickets are selling quickly.&nbsp;

Vendors and food trucks will also be on scene during the day. The Children's Museum will have chalk ready for the kids to enjoy. Starting around 1:00pm, amateur artists will take the stage and will have over an hour to paint a portrait.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Hershey, Neb. - The community of Hershey is gearing up for the 2024 Hershey Fall Festival that'll run from August 23rd - August 25th with returning and new events for everyone to enjoy. This year concert will feature up and coming country artist Colin Stough and opening the show will be local talents BJ Jamison and the Drew Phillips band. North Platte, Neb. - Grab the lawn chairs and gear up for the 10th Annual Music on the Bricks event which is taking place Friday and Saturday in the Canteen District. Friday event will run from 7:00pm - 10:00pm and will feature Bases Loaded. On Saturday, the event will start at 6:00pm and will last until midnight. Saturday's show features the James Burke Trio, tunes from Jim Calhoun, Barb and Brenda and finally Platinum Pearls will end the nights.&nbsp;

Admission is $7 per person and children 12 and under are free. However, if using a credit card, a $1 processing fee will be added so it will be $8. Reminder to bring a lawn chair as seating is very limited.&nbsp;
